London is the place for me
A festival celebration of the 50th Anniversary of Trinidad & Tobago Independence

Curated by Melanie Abrahams and Dominique Le Gendre, this two week festival of music, theatre, literature, spoken word, family and young people events and participation activities commemorated 50 years of political independence for Trinidad and Tobago, and explored two foremost islands of cultural fusion - and the connections to England - through some of its finest artists, thinkers and shapers, past and present.
"London is the place for me" took place during the last two weeks of Trinidad and Tobago Culture Fest, the month long festival set up and hosted by the Trinidad and Tobago High Commission which ran from 27 July to 25 August at the Tricycle Theatre, Kilburn, London.
